What is YesPix
What is YesPix? I’ve been getting asked this a lot lately by my friends on twitter, facebook, tumblr and more. YesPix is a place to discover, upload, view and share photos. YesPix allows you to Follow photo streams of your favorite people, places, and things. This is a new business and website that has been worked on for the last 4 months. Ok… I know what you’re thinking, there are tons of other “photo sharing apps” out there. What makes YesPix different?
YesPix sets itself apart from the other photo sharing apps with being an actual community, not just a tool. Also, YesPix offers Pro accounts for users who have a large following. YesPix Pro accounts receive revenue sharing on their own photos. YOU MEAN? Yes. Yes I mean that our users that share/post photos and drive a lot of traffic to their OWN media will be getting PAID money by YesPix. If you’re aware of the YouTube Partnership program, this is comparable to that except designed for photo sharing. YesPix will also provide analytical data for your photos so that you can really understand who is viewing your content.

Drake Take Care album leak
Drake’s ‘Take Care’ album has just leaked. The anticipated Take Care album by Drake has recently leaked and been spreading all over Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr. The rapper Drake’s release date for Take Care was set for November 15th, 2011. The Take Care album leaking now, only 9 days before release doesn’t seem to upset Drake much. He said on Twitter, “I am not sure if the album leaked. But if it did thank god it doesn’t happen a month early anymore. Listen, enjoy it, buy it if you like it…and take care until next time.”

Square Up
Square Up or better known as Square is a mobile payment processing iPhone app to simplify payments through mobile phones. SquareUp was started by Twitter’s co-founder Jack Dorsey in late 2009. I absolutely love the Square product and what it’s doing for small business’s. I don’t personally sell things with Square but being a tech nerd / early adapter I get very excited when I see companies using emerging technology.
Nonetheless, I went to a coffee shop called Groundfloor cafe in downtown Los Angeles (4th & spring) this afternoon with my girlfriend. It’s a beautiful location that’s part art gallery and part coffee shop. The vibe, menu, and setup already had me sold as for a place I’d like to come work or get coffee. Once I ordered and went to pay I noticed they had an ATM machine as well as an iPad 2 next to the register. The guy working the register told me they had just set up Square Up app yesterday and taking a lot more transactions due to that.
I started eating after the little giddy feeling I got from knowing they were using Square went away. We ordered iced coffees, nutella croissants, and cappuccino macaroons. Honestly the coffee was pretty normal quality but the pastries we’re amazing. The vibe that Groundfloor cafe had was very cool though. They had a projector setup, some couches and a whole gallery on the other side. I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s visiting Los Angeles and wants a nice place to work, relax or just grab some coffee.
The nutella croissants are pretty serious, I highly recommend them to anyone who’s a chocolate lover such as myself. Anyway, I felt I needed to write this post to not only give Groundfloor cafe in downtown Los Angeles credit for their service but also for adapting to new technology. Square has an amazing product and in this situation made my experience even better than a traditional credit card machine. Go support Square Up and Groundfloor Cafe.

Lil Wayne “Tha Carter 4″ album has leaked online as of last night. The album was scheduled to release on August 29th but leaked last nigh (August 24th). Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter 4″ leak has been spreading all around Twitter, Facebook and other social media outlets. Carter 4 is currently trending worldwide on Twitter. If you’re looking to download Lil Waynes “Tha Carter IV” you can find download leak on MediaFire.com, MegaUpload.com and more. There is lots of discussion being made around the diss to Jay-Z that Lil Wayne shouts out in one of his new songs.
I’m currently listening to this new Lil Wayne “Tha Carter 4″ album. I think this album release is one of the best i’ve heard from Wayne in a while. It’s got an original hip-hop sound yet still has a very gangster rap feel. It’s unfortunate that music these days leak before album release dates, causing these musicians and artists some frustration. Albums leak because of inside distribution of CD’s. Most likely someone at Best Buy, Target or another cd distributor got their shipment of Lil Wayne’s “Tha Carter 4″ album in for it’s scheduled release date of August 29th 2011; then stole a copy. Regardless of if this was intended to be shared with friends online or not… it’s certainly surfaced all over the internet. Looks like “The Carter 4″ by Lil Wayne has officially leaked.

Everything’s bigger in Texas
so i haven’t been home to texas to visit my mother since t moved to los angeles on new years (1/1/2011) and it was definitely past due. this weekend my girlfriend emily and i flew to san antonio, tx to stay with my mom for the weekend! we left friday and flew out of lax, so naturally on the flight we got our vodka tonic on…
we got to my parents late friday night and went out to dinner which was nice since it had been a while. saturday i took emily to austin, tx to see some of my old friends and do some day time kush medicating.i don’t think i could have asked for a better dinner! mmmm. swirl margaritas and mexican food on the lake @ hula hut. also can’t forget we went to mt. bonnell after for this epic view
after the end of the night we just went to amys ice cream and then drove back to san antonio from austin. i was a bit stoney so emily had to drive 
it was a little embarrassing but thus is life. the next morning my parents had a massage therapist come to the house and give us massages in the guest house which was…. amazing. we drank a few day drinks and then had to head to the airport. overall it was a very short but sweet visit….
